Finding a good flight school that does things the right way will make the difference between suffering through your ratings and excelling through them. It's not just about finding a good instructor - the planes need to be maintained with a "Safety First" mentality from the owners.

Hot Shot Aviation has well maintained aircraft. If anything goes wrong, they're quick and responsive, and we'll get it fixed. It's super easy to check in and out in. Getting training with them has been really great and fun, and they got everything from private all the way to muilt.

Awesome flight school where the owners really care about their planes and renters/students needs. Super clean planes with good availability and good variety of planes. They are very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to rent or train.

I’ve been through three different aviation schools at KVNY and Hot shots is where I landed (pun intended). I am a private pilot working on my instrument rating. The CFIs are all on the same page and get along well. The owners are mechanics and run a tight ship.
