I started with a discovery flight and am now about 20 hours into my Private Pilot License journey with Santa Monica Flyers. I’ve had a great experience so far. My instructor, Brandon, is knowledgeable and does an excellent job of building both skills and confidence in the cockpit. The entire team is friendly, professional, and very responsive, making scheduling and communication easy. Every lesson has been well organized and productive, and I’ve consistently felt supported throughout the process. I’d highly recommend Santa Monica Flyers to anyone considering flight training.

Santa Monica Flyers is the best flight school on the west coast hands down. Nestled in the corner of the historic airport, the school features dozens of airplanes to choose from, unlimited snacks, as well as the best instructors on this side of the Mississippi. Hannah at the front desk is one of the kindest people you will meet, and Danny the Flight School manager is on top of his game keeping all the airplanes fun and safe to fly. This is the #1 spot to be when your ready to become a pilot.

I just completed the Cirrus VFR Transition Course at Santa Monica Flyers with Efer. Everyone at Flyers is super friendly, professional, proficient, and accomodating. Efer was very patient with me, and is a really great instructor. I have found that many young instructors may be really intelligent and great pilots but being a great teacher is another level and Efer is definitely at that level. Additonal shout out to Damien for his help and Danny the GM. And Joseph who did my final check ride is both the most frIendly guy and best instructor you could ever hope for! I highly recommend Santa Monica Flyers for any flight training you might want to do!
