My mom and I took a tourist flight with Justin on a beautiful sunny day, and it was truly a special experience. We stayed at around 2,000 feet, which made the flight feel more intimate and immersive rather than like a distant aerial view. Needless to say, the views were gorgeous. Justin was fantastic — he made us feel very safe, explained everything he was doing before and during the flight, and was incredibly knowledgeable. He happily answered all our questions and offered in-depth explanations about anything we were curious about. He also gave us plenty of time for photos before and after the flight, and during the flight we were free to take as many photos and videos as we liked. Thank you so much, Justin — we had an amazing time. I highly recommend this experience to anyone considering a scenic flight!

I gifted the Malibu/Hollywood/DTLA flight to my boyfriend for his birthday and we could not be happier with our decision! He had never flown a plane before but has always dreamed of being a pilot. Great folks here! Flew into LA for a day, and on short noticed they organized a plane and a great instructor (Luke) to fly with me as I was unfamiliar with the airspace. Did a great aerial tour of Los Angeles in a Piper and some pattern work at Santa Monica. They could have easily told me no on a Saturday afternoon, but instead chose to make it happen. Would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn to fly!

I got my start and completed my flight training at Skyward, and I now fly for a major airline as a direct result. Choosing Skyward to complete my training, and attain certificates through was hands down one of the greatest and best decisions I’ve ever made. There is absolutely no greater flight school out there that can offer such a personally tailored flight training experience. I couldn’t be happier with the foundational knowledge, training, and experience that I gained from my time so well-spent at Skyward. The instructors are by far some of the best in the industry, and Bret is one of my absolute heroes for everything he does to run such a top tier and unparalleled flight school. You absolutely owe it to yourself to—if nothing else—go up for an intro flight. For me, that by itself inspired me to pursue and then attain a career in aviation. No other flight school out there can offer such an individualized approach to whatever it is that you may seek to gain from your flight training. As for me, Skyward launched my career into the airlines.

Wish I could give Bret and Skyward ten stars! I got an intro flying lesson for my partner for his birthday and got to ride along. We had an incredible time! Hard to say which was more fun - flying a plane or hanging out with Bret :) He was friendly and helpful throughout some tricky scheduling, so much fun and so kind on the flight. Can’t recommend it enough. Only downside is that now my partner is annoyed that he can’t top that gift ;)
