Good people. Peyton is an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and great to work with. 1 year and 90 hours got me my ppl. The stage checks were harder than the check ride. Stage check scheduling was sometimes a pain. Overall great if you've got the budget, rates are just too high for me.

If you're trying to use your GI-Bill for flight training, contact D2 Fight Academy. I did my AMEL here using my GI-Bill, and the process was smooth. I reached out to them, and all I needed to provide was my certificate of eligibility and dates. The training is done in 10 days! Spencer was my instructor, and I can't say enough. He was excellent!

I would personally recommend this flight school!! After finally deciding that I wanted to take the plunge to become a private pilot, the team at D2 (previously Tradewinds) made the whole process not only easy, but quite enjoyable. After briefly meeting with one of the instructors, I had an excellent overview of what to expect and how the process would work. The billing, scheduling, testing, and training process is super straightforward and very flexible. I felt like part of the team for the whole journey, and just received my pilot certificate last month!! Looking forward to earning my IFR next! Great facility, program and team!
