Had a fantastic experience with Wilkins Aviation! Easy communication and excellent service. Sy is a great instructor! His methods of instruction put you at ease and his confidence in the plane provide the perfect environment to learn. While spending many hours flying helicopters — I hadn’t flown an airplane in 15 years — but wanted to get a refresh. Sy was the prefect IP to take me out and renew some confidence but even more so help me see the places I need to focus on to get better. Fly safe Sy! Look me up in Florida if you’re down that way.

Over the years, since childhood, my passion for aviation has only continued to grow. When I came across Wilkins Aviation Co., I knew it was time to take that first step and pursue it. From day one, Sy has been professional, flexible, and genuinely invested in my progress. Most importantly, he exemplifies what it means to be a safe instructor. Since our first flight, we’ve spent a considerable amount of time in the air together, and at no point have I ever felt that safety was compromised or that unnecessary risks were taken. He’s an excellent teacher who communicates clearly, builds confidence, and maintains a calm, structured approach to instruction. On top of that, he’s a great person as he’s courteous, respectful, and easy to work with. Sy is a great guy and really down to earth. There’s no pressure when you’re around him, he’s easygoing and friendly, and he makes people feel comfortable while still keeping things solid and professional. He’s thorough and takes pride in doing things the right way, not rushing or cutting corners. I would 100% recommend to everyone
