Jason is a true aviation professional who I’ve flown with on numerous occasions. His enthusiasm for flying is evident to anyone he shares the cockpit with. If you’re looking to refresh your skills or tack on some advanced certification, Jason is the guy to see. Flying together has been a great mix of fun/instruction and has always left me feeling more confident as a pilot. His knowledge and skills always helped me to feel comfortable while I gained a “PIC mentality” of my own. I highly recommend Jason as an instructor to anyone in or near the Carolina piedmont who has (or would like to gain) a passion for aviation!

I came to Jason as a low-time private pilot looking to safely transition into the Bonanza, which would be my first complex and high-performance aircraft. I knew it would be a step up in both workload and responsibility, and I needed someone who could guide me through that without sugarcoating the learning curve. Jason did exactly that. His instruction was clear, patient, and appropriately demanding. He emphasized not just how to operate the Bonanza, but how to manage it well, including: energy and configuration to systems, checklists, and decision-making. I especially appreciated how he let me work through challenges without stepping in too soon, but also never let things get too far before offering insight or correction. He helped me build real comfort and respect for the airplane, and I left our training with a stronger sense of discipline, flow, and purpose in the cockpit. I’d recommend him to any pilot — especially those stepping into more capable aircraft — for thoughtful, safe, and confidence-building instruction. Thanks Jason!
