One of the best places to begin a PPL course! While exploring flight schools for my son, I had the opportunity to visit and speak with the club ambassadors. I immediately felt this was the right place to start. The team was incredibly welcoming, took the time to explain their programs in detail, and were happy to share their own experiences. It truly gave us confidence in their approach and commitment.

This place is affordable compared to other flights schools. The standards are higher than others and safety is the number one concern. The club has had an incredible safety record over the 30+ years in existence. It is a diverse group of instructors. I have been with four on occasion when my primary was unavailable. Getting different perspectives is very helpful.

What a special place for aviation, lucky to have it near the Triangle. The culture and facilities are top-notch. Whether your at maintenance night, a Saturday cookout, or just passing through on your way into the sky, you're surrounded by wise aviators who will give you the time of day to teach you what they know. Value. The club realizes that flying is expensive. Whether you're a student or a long-term member, you'd be hard-pressed to have similar access at a price that beats all the local flight schools/clubs. Find the right instructor for you. The club policy is to try a different instructor each time you reach a milestone (new rating, flight review, checkout). There are so many amazing instructors that have been with the club for a LONG time.
