Place needs to be closed permanently. Was training here for about 6 months, on one of my Certs, and randomly when I’m about to get my check ride date, they decide to get rid of the ONE and only plane available to me to fly. This place is a joke of a flight school, planes are kept in terrible maintenance, and they’ll do nothing but run you around and waste your money and time.

My 10-year-old son and I recently took a discovery flight with Vincent Ortiz and had a fun, memorable experience. Vincent kept us informed before the flight about the weather, which had been dicey. Luckily, we got clear skies in the morning and were able to fly. We took up an older Piper Arrow that ran smoothly. Vincent mixed in sightseeing along the coast from Topsail to Baldhead with some flight instruction for my son, who had an absolute blast in the air and is now talking about being a pilot. (And a doctor.) Highly recommend!

Top notch experience! I was greeted at the door by a friendly receptionist who quickly introduced me to the flight instructor, Andrew. Andrew reviewed current weather conditions with me and detailed what to expect during the flight. His attention to safety was on point and appreciated. We headed to the ILM airfield, where Andrew carefully inspected the aircraft and prepped for takeoff. Once in the air, I was able to fully experience the thrill of piloting a plane! If you are interested in becoming a pilot or enjoy the thrill of flying, I highly recommend All American Aviation Services!

Highly do not recommend this school. I normally do not write reviews but seeing that I myself is a business owner and I would want the truth were maybe I could fix the issues to give the students/ customers better service. I had scheduled 4 Flights with this school with a certain instructor which I will not shed his name. Our flights were post to start at 7 am and never did we begin at that time. One time we started around 7:45 am (yes I had to wait on Him and I had to wait on him), The other time I wanted until around 7:20 am, The third flight I had to cancel and not show up cause of a miss communication( My Fault), and the last and final flight the instructor didn't even show up to over a hour. The owner and manager both called and apologized and said they would make this all better ( And they sure did not) I would just like to warn you I would definitely look at another Flight school until they get their stuff figured out. I am not going into detail of how this company operates and there equipment but for now look elsewhere
