Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. David Lackey as a pilot examiner was disappointing. He arrived approximately 30 minutes late to our scheduled appointment and was dressed casually in a t-shirt, which felt unprofessional for a checkride. Due to weather, the flight portion had to be rescheduled. I was informed that returning would involve an additional fee, but he was unable to reschedule me within a reasonable timeframe because of his availability. I ultimately had to complete the remainder of my test with a different examiner. Mr. Lackey declined to provide a partial refund for the portion of the service that was not completed. Overall, this was a frustrating experience.
