Attended here in 2019. IFR course resources are excellent. Great program. Commercial was a mess. Total roulette wheel whether you get a competent instructor or not. Overall it’s a money grab and I hear today many other flight school beside ATP offer financing. Do that instead

Best location. Best instructors. If you attend ATP in Scottsdale, do what you can to avoid pursuing your CFI at the Mesa location. Truly awful. Do you’re CFI in Texas or FL. But, Scottsdale was excellent. Much love .

Coming back years later to edit this review and say this.... Literally invest in your flying education ANYWHERE else. The instructors are young adults who are just trying to gain hours to further a career. Not invested in teaching the correct way to fly. It's extremely sad to see this program hasn't changed an inch of their structure. For your safety and for the safety of others, please invest your money in any other program. Plenty of flight schools now offer financing if that's the main issue. This is the McDonalds of flight schools.

Scottsdale ATP location gets an easy 5 stars from me. I would give ATP as a whole somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars. I really enjoyed the Scottsdale location as it was much smaller than the Mesa-Gateway location and it allowed for a better connection with other students and instructors. I personally had just about every student and instructors phone number who was associated with Scottsdale and I know people who attend a larger ATP have very little connection and poor sense of camaraderie. As far as the program goes it is hard but very doable as long as you stay focused and committed. I completed the program in 9 months and 15 days during Covid with lockdowns, getting sick, and taking several weeks off. Overall I enjoyed ATP as it allowed me to get all my ratings in 9 months. They have a fantastic selection of DPE’s (designated pilot examiner), good instructors, an easy to finance program, and their aircraft are some of the nicest you can find.

Hands down, one of the most poorly organised and ill-trained pilot training "centres" (the instructors are the worst) I've ever known - BTW, this company has headquarters in FL, and they are listed as INACTIVE on the FL Secretary of State corporate filings - that should give anyone pause - if you're illegal and not filing the REQUIRED corporate filings with your home state, I don't personally want to be associated with an organisation that breaks the law. AWFUL people, terrible corporate structure, and wilfully ignorant and negligent with both the Federal, state and local rules and regs, especially in the State of AZ. RUN.
