I went through and did all of my training (Private-CFII) here with UHI. It was a super great experience and I've come out of it not only with all my certs, but as a much better pilot than I think I would have elsewhere. The instructors are super professional and knowledgeable, the aircraft are very well maintained by an exceptional maintenance staff. If a single thing was wrong with an aircraft it would get thoroughly fixed and inspected before coming back out so I was very confident in operating them as a student. The environment of Phoenix is very busy, but it proves quite helpful in making you a better pilot since you get used to operating in such congested and active airspace without it being so extreme that you can't do anything. The weather, while hot, is quite ideal to flight training most of the year so I seldom had to cancel a flight for weather. The school isn't so big as to make me feel like a number in a spreadsheet, I was always one on one with an instructor.

This school is absolutely awesome! I did the 206b initial with Doug and Bo and they were both super knowledgeable and patient ready to answer whatever questions you had for them. The flying portion was thoroughly briefed at each stage. Each maneuver was talked through prior and very methodically explained and demonstrated. I highly recommend this course to anyone personal or buisness related.

Excellent training! The team is top tier. I just came here to do some basic training in the 206 for my company. Thinking about coming back for ATP and/or CFI. Highly recommend.

School denied my request to join school off of the Sales man Of his hurt feelings. Because he through I call him pathetic. This school not does not offer financing for PPL . Not everyone has 25,000 to blow on ppl (private pilot license) Also, the sales guy talk bad about every school over the phone. He was trying to tell me that this school is the best. I said well if you don’t offer financing than this is not the best school. He didn’t like the fact that his pride strides got down alittle bit. This guy is a very persuaded to fast. I really hope the owner of this school gives me call the resolve this call. I’ve talked to many schools and none of them ever talked bad about other school and they were the big shot. Will remove bad review with resolved statement with an apology and acceptance.
