What is a slip?
Flight in which the airplane is moving partly sideways toward its low wing, with the nose off to one side of the direction of travel. In a turn it means the rate of turn is too low for the bank being held, and the inclinometer ball rests toward the inside of the turn.
That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
