I had an incredible experience training at McAir Aviation in Broomfield on my journey to getting my Private Pilot License (PPL). The entire operation is top-notch, well-organized, and the fleet is incredibly well-maintained. A massive shoutout to my CFI, Cooper! I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Cooper is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always found a way to make complex concepts easy to understand. He kept me motivated, tailored the lessons to my pace, and built up my confidence every time we went up. If you are looking to start your flight training, definitely ask for Cooper and train with McAir!

My father is 90 years old and he was visiting me from Belgium. When he was in his 30-40s, he held a private pilot license and was a real plane fanatic. Always has been. He had not been able to fly a Cessna for 40 years and he did not even think it might one day be possible to experience the thrill again. That was without counting in the McNair flying school and plane rides. I walked into the premises and immediately felt that they looked at my dad as if it was their dad. They were committed to make it happen. And it did!!! Dad went on a discover plane ride with Cooper. Instead of a discovery this is probably the last Cessna ride he is going to be in his life time and Cooper made it extra special. He made videos of dad flying … one last time. I cannot thank McNair enough for giving my dad access to his dream, one last time. Thank you Cooper, thank you McNair for leaving a big mark in my dad’s life.

I decided to do a discovery flight at McAir Aviation to see if piloting was a good fit for me. Answer: Yes. The discovery flight blew my mind. My instructor Cooper Turbek-Heal was awesome. Not only did he teach me the controls of the plane and let me take over and fly, but he also explained the science behind the design of the aircraft. Everyone else at McAir was incredibly friendly and supportive, it was a great atmosphere. The planes are also kept in pristine condition. I would recommend McAir Aviation to anyone looking for a flight school.

I've flown out of mcair since 2023 and mcair has helped me every step of the way from zero to becoming a professional pilot. The quality of training is above any other that I have received. And I personally think they have the best training in the Denver area.

Very thankful for McAir Aviation and its staff! My training started roughly a year ago and I couldn’t be happier with the resources, expertise, and knowledge provided. I know that this flight school will push me to be the best and reach my goal of heading to the airlines. I am especially grateful for my flight instructor Gretchen Metz. From the moment we started training together she has brought professionalism, dedication, and integrity to every lesson we have had. She created a roadmap for my success, and does a great job pushing me to be the best pilot I can be. Not only that but she brings enthusiasm and lots of fun to our flights and lessons as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Looking forward to the rest of my training and what’s to come. Thank you McAir!
